Thanks for that. I'll look in to it!martins wrote:I think this is a relatively easy DIY project involving sending away the ecu, having it 'reset' and then refitting....Kinger did this a few years ago with his 111r so may have some advice to offer....

111R lowered cam change - Scotland?
Is there anywhere in Scotland who can lower the cam change on my 111R? I'm wanting to get this done but ideally not have to drive down to England for the work.

2x Elise S2's on the A697 this afternoon
2 Elise S2's earlier today. I think both were grey and one had orange stripes. Great day for it! I was in a silver mk6 golf going north.

Re: Screw holes from rear plate
A couple of black rubber grommets? A full size plate with the ends 'blacked out' ? Feel your pain - I like the shorter (but legal) plates and often find cars are designed for full size plates so shorties don't work  I had though about the full plate blacked out. The grommets won't cover the t...

Screw holes from rear plate
Hi guys. I have just fitted my plate to my Elise, only to find the car had its original plates screwed straight to the car. This is one of my pet hates as I like using a shorter (but still legal) plate. If you take a look at the pic you can see two gaping holes and to top it off there is tarnishing ...

Re: Scratched headlights - restoration kit??
Hi James, your car looks great!! I think I need to get mine detailed! Having seen your lights, I'm going to have to order the kit! You mention that your detailer added in the extra sanding and buffing - I thought that was part of the job? You seem to have to sand with all these kits? Sent from my i...

Scratched headlights - restoration kit??
Hi James, Mine is an '03 135R. Picked her up in March last year and its really a bit of fun and am really enjoying ownership. I'm just doing wee bits here and there to try and get her absolutely mint, hence the headlight discussion. with a young family and particularly the weather of late, she's no...
