Re: It’s time...

Good to hear you are back in a lotus, and a 410 @ that! I can recommend Robert @ Incredible Detail. He did the ppf and ceramic coating on my new 410 before I collected it from Parks. Are you planning any track days before the end of the year? At least you don’t have to run the thing in first Chunk

Genuine Lotus Matt Black Hard Top

Bought from Lotus in 2018 it was only on my S3 Elise 20th for circa 1500 miles before i traded it in last week.

Roof is completely unmarked and immaculate

These are £3042 new from DeRoure/Lotus, anyone interested?

:welcome That’s a quick S1 round knockhill, hope the beginners track day goes well, first of those I’ve seen advertised and sounds a good option to break you in gently I’ve sent him the video with you in it 😂 Said it was homework! Take him a while to match your lap time around there!!!

Elise 20th to Exige 20th

Chopping the Elise 20th in for an Exige 20th next month. Getting one of the last off the production line as i wanted to wait until the spec of the final edition 420 was released then decided to stick with the 410. Looking forward to some track days this year at knockhill, I’m sure the Exige will dri...

Re: ZZR tyres

Time to talk tyres... again!!! I've currently got AD08R on but they've been replaced by AD08RS which get very mixed reviews. I've had ZZR in the past and would use them again but they're not road legal now apparently. ZZS is the replacement tyre, slightly better in the wet and, given that I'm unlik...

Re: Knockhill track sessions

Sounds like a decent balanced package on your car, it can shift around Knockhill!! think it helps an Elise in general being tight and twisty apart from the start finish straight, that pull up the hill is amplified compared to higher power cars. Ive just gone for Yokohama AO52s all round on my car, t...

Re: Knockhill track sessions

Hi Scott, cheers for the tag, Colin got some really good shots of my car. It’s a 20th anniversary so based on the supercharged elise, what about your s1? Seems to corner really flat and you can carry a lot more speed in the corners than me as I am standard suspension, brakes etc If you have footage ...

My understanding is they are indeed “official” now.

Only wait was caused by COVID. Fairly slick all-in-all [emoji1303]
Thanks again, i have been holding off thinking about a new lotus until this all gets sorted out

Re: Leven car company Administration

I wouldn’t be too lenient. They have chosen to take on the franchise. They need to earn customers’ trust from the get-go. Let’s say, they’re on probation [emoji6] Yeah i agree. So are they going to be Scotland’s official dealer for warranty work etc? How long did they keep you waiting for the recal...
