Stopped to see if I could help you this evening, just before Hermiston Gait eastbound. Too bad you had a puncture, might have been able to do something otherwise. Hope you didn't have to wait too long for the breakdown truck!
Cheers

Always a pleasure being overtaken by a Lotus, being driven as the good Lord intended!

Two S1 Elises on Edinburgh Bypass, Monday
I was half a dozen cars behind a yellow S1 heading east on Monday around 1530. I was in a Mondeo otherwise I might have tried to keep up with you :-) Just after Sheriffhall Roundabout was another S1 on a trailer heading west, front clam looked black, rear was white (or vice versa!). Track car or a r...

I was in the blue Mondeo you blew into the weeds - you overtook me just after "dead man's curve" north of Heriot. Let's just say that you were "making progress"

Silver S1, B9127 near Carmyllie
Was taking the scenic route from Montrose Harbour to Dundee after working on a ship today. Just thinking to myself, "these would be cracking roads to drive in my Elise" when you flashed past me. Jealous!

Re: Jim Clark anniversary events unveiled
I'd be up for this, some cracking roads around there. I visited the Jim Clark Room for the first time last year, amazing collection of items.

Re: 20 Years On
My S1 is R671 HSF. Left Murrays on 1st April 1998 so the 20th anniversary is fast approaching. Treating her to a suspension refresh this week but I think I need to take her on a special trip in April to celebrate, maybe a run up the west coast to Durness if the weather is decent. I wonder how many a...

First time my red S1 Elise has been on the road in nearly 3 months, not seen another Elise in nearly the same time and I ended up behind you on the A71 as I took it to CMC for an MOT/service.

Ruby S1 in McDonalds, Greenock
Spotted at lunchtime Tuesday by the hungry looking guy in the blue Mondeo at the drive through. I have an S1 the same colour; I can't remember the last time I saw another Ruby S1 on the road in Scotland and it was a pleasant surprise. I hope you enjoyed your Big Mac

Re: Lotus Driving Academy
I think it was closed for a while (not sure why) but recently relaunched. There were 17 people on my course but I think it's about half of that on the Silver course as you get more 1:1 tuition in the cars. Great way to advertise the company and its wares.

I went to Hethel on Friday for the "Bronze" training course. What a fantastic day! The factory tour was fascinating and we got access to every part of the facility and build process. There were several Evora GT430s in various stages of construction including a fully finished version which looked ama...

Brooklands International Lotus Day, Surrey, May 7th
I went to this show on Sunday, what a fantastic day out. Located in a field between the Brooklands Museum and Mercedes Benz world, there was a wide variety of Loti on show. I took a few pics which can be viewed in the album below (hopefully the link works, first attempt). http://s1067.photobucket.co...

Superb looking grey Exige EX11*** heading south on the A74 north of Lockerbie, Saturday afternoon. You went past me (blue Mondeo estate) just after the Talivan on the overbridge - I hope they didn't get you! I'm sure they got the muppet in the Fiesta ST that bombed past me at what I imagine was 95 t...
