Tyres

Probably been asked a thousand times but things change, so here goes..... Been using the Yokohama AD07 on the Elise but the backs are pretty much f**ked and looking at new ones. Was going to go with the new AD08RS Yoko's but I've been reading some pretty poor reviews which did include one from an El...

Hard top lining

Looking for some info, the lining for my hard top has started to come away from the hardtop, any good ways of fixing it?

It is not bad (at the moment) so would like to fix sooner rather than later.

Cheers

Re: New Member - Edinburgh, S1 Elise

Welcome.

Another vote for Craig Moncrieff, excellent attention to detail. I travel from Ayrshire to have Craig do all my servicing or anything else on my car.

Re: Thoughts on property prices

Fully agree with Andy G, once the mortgage holiday is over plus a couple of months it is going to be a buyers market unfortunately. Prices will be down as to what they were 12 months previous. My estate agent is also advising that rental properties are going to be in demand and will move fast. They ...

3000 miles in 20 years! Wow, I thought since I bought my Elise and doing 3000 miles in a year was low useage lol

Re: Craig Moncrieff thank you.

More great service from Craig and the team yesterday, service and MOT, great value for money.
Car returned spotless, sparkling, quite a contrast to the embarissingly fly squashed car I dropped off.
Highly recommended

Re: Covid-19 Lockdown

I've been learning all about Google Classroom, unfortunately for the wee lad I am a quick learner and discovered that he's been pulling the wool over me and the missis eyes!!!!!! So he cannot actually do all his school work in an hour and then leave him to go out into the garden to play footy all da...

The lacquer has started to flake off my headlights, is there anywhere recommended to refurbish them in the Edinburgh area?
Alternatively has anyone gone down the DIY route?
Did you find anyone that carries out this refurb? Needing this done on mine.

Cheers

Re: Tyre fitting

Cheers to Woody and Pete for recommending Abbottsinch. Good service, arrived and explained that usual crowd had changed their policy that they weren't fitting customer supplied tyres and they'd said the tyre with the nail was not repairable. Within 15 minutes we were on our way, still with two new t...
