S2 boot lid on s1 elise

Hi,

can you fit an s2 boot lid onto an s1 elise?

Are they the same shape or totally different?

Any advice welcome.

Does anyone have an s1 boot lid, or seen one for sale

Alternatively does the s2 type with a lock fit, or can it be fitted and the s1 adapted to suit?

hi,

just a thought but have you looked behind the accelerator pedal, on our s1 we had a similar problem and it was the black sheath over the cable was not located in the hole at the back of the pedal and it caused the cable to jam. just a thought before you keep taking your car apart anymore.

hi, your 4.5 k seems steep, go price the stuuf at B&Q or similar, try afew and add it up and see what you are paying for, I notice they havn't included for site clearance etc, this is a common scam, they will leave all the old stuf at their ass, and you have to arrange skip, or take to tip. i guess ...
