You will miss out on a lot of great places if you follow this. I have never had any problems at all (I go there on business a bit).

However, I can appreciate how some people MAY have come to reach this conclusion....

Re: Driving to Italy...

Looks like about 800/900 miles from Amsterdam to Tuscany. Would probably like to split that into 2 days driving maybe stopping in or around Switzerland. Any other hints and tips gratefully received! Cheers Alistair I've done the trip a few of times. The Amsterdam ferry is worth every penny - forget...

Re: RR with Emerald mapping experience

Hi

Sorry it's an s1 with Sport160 head, vernier pullies, Piper 4-2-1 manifold.

Not a fresh install, just room for some more optimization in the current map (in my opinion anyway!). For some reason, car is running without IAT sensor and I can't be sure if it was mapped this way or not...

RR with Emerald mapping experience

Hi Folks,

Any suggestions or recommendations for a rolling road with knowledge of Emerald ECUs?

I'm just north of Inverness so expecting I might need to make a bit of a trip, but I generally try to avoid ever going back down to England if at all possible....

Re: nightmare

Have a look for electrons escaping at the starter solenoid connection. If that gets wet, not enough juice gets thru to engage the starter. Bit of water dispersant sprayed into there can help...

Eeew! No! I've got an old school one.

(Sorry! the new take on the Europa does not do anything for me.)

Mine is a 1968 S2, with modified Renault power. Looks like a POS but a real laugh to drive.

Hi Just thought I'd say hi. I signed up for the yahoo grp a few months back (don't manage to keep up with the emails though...) when I was moving from Oxford up to the Highlands. I'm definitely looking forward to stretching the car on these lovely quiet roads. Not so much looking forward to trying t...
