Re: Anyone bought a new car recently?

Similar (ish) setup here. Currently have an XC60, sold a Golf R Wagon and bought a Honda E for the commute. Trying to convince the other half that replacing the XC60 with a fast wagon is the way to go when the time comes [emoji1696][emoji1696]

New discs and pads a tad noisy

Hard to pinpoint when on the move but both near side wheels make some noise when rotated and jacked.

Found audio taken with the phone pointed towards the passenger window, but can’t upload it here it seems.

Will check the stone guard. Thanks!

New discs and pads a tad noisy

Hello, I got new discs and pads on the S1 a few months back at CMC and noted they were making a light rubbing noise even after ~150 miles. Having a little time to https://www.lotustalk.com/threads/brakes-rubbing.69319/ read up this past week, it seems it might be not unusual. Doesn’t seem to drag no...

Re: Headlamp bracket

Just bent it back and held in place with a stick against the brake disc. The fuse box screws have seen better days so I decided to leave that for another day.

Re: Headlamp bracket

No, but easily sorted thankfully.

Nice to get another simple job under the belt. I’m sure they’ll be plenty more tricky ones.

Headlamp bracket

When replacing a headlamp bracket https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20230908/350ff6eb6295fa7cdcdce9afb7e36642.jpg I’m assuming getting rid of all the old tiger seal and reapplying to the clam is the best approach? Only advantage I see in not taking it all off is the pre-made guide for alignment of th...
