Re: iRacing

The monitor stand is one of these but it didn't bring the monitor close enough so I added one of these. Drilled through both parts of the main support and bolted the monitor wall mount to the stand. A lot cheaper than the play seat version.

Re: iRacing

Some of us are back on PS4's for the same reason. Not tried iRacing as I don't have a gaming PC and by the look of things you need a fair machine to run it. Not without it's issues though, a lot of crashes and not on track.

Looks like the cable end is out of the cam for the throttle body as well. Need to insert the cable end into the plastic cam before re-installing the cable tensioner.

Re: Classic mini -NLC

it's all very well replacing panels but they have to be mounted to something solid, ie not rusty. If some of the structure has indeed been changed then it has to be done on a jig to keep the car straight in every direction. There is so much off in those pictures that I doubt any of that has happened...

Re: 1,000 mile service

I would like CMC to be awarded Lotus Service status so Monty can do the recall on mine [emoji1303] Ducati used to have 2 types of dealers/service centres. Main dealer sold and serviced bikes along with aftermarket performance parts from their catalog and then there were service centres that only di...

Re: Covid-19 Lockdown

Getting a bunch of jobs finished off in the house, finish the upstair loo, bunch of painting to do. Had planned finishing the upstairs en-suite but Jewsons closed before delivering my order. They might be open later in the week, they are exempt, but I doubt it. Probably get round to fitting the big ...

Re: Driving to Morocco??

Harry's trip look amazing, Tim life is to short just go for it, even with any hassle it all adds to the memory. Maybe I am a bit blasé about it as I work in Africa which has helped redefine my perception of dodgy but what the hell it would be a brilliant trip to do and certainly more out of the ordi...

9 cars a year is pretty grim, my nephew sells Audis and can do that in a weekend.
I would have thought Aberdeen Audi would need that a day!
Big new showroom to pay for and all that :D

:withstupid what he said
And yes it is sad that's the way it's gone but people move on and time change. My Elise has hardly left the garage but time is my enemy, more jobs than days at the moment.
Do miss the old runs in the S1 though

Re: Leven car company Administration

I meant that when Lotus was in the other showroom Suzuki or kia was in the same building.
Now that Lotus and Volvo are under the same owners why not sell both through same dealerships.
Give Lotus access to a wider audience.

Re: Leven car company Administration

That being the case then at least tag servicing to volvo dealerships which will give wider spread of available service centres.
Or sell Lotus through the Volvo dealers, MMC had the original showroom next to Suzuki was it?
