Re: Cleaner brake pads.
I have exact same problem on the M2. Unless I take it out and brake heavy a few times to dry off the disc the pads weld themselves to the disc and get brake judder for days after till it clears the pick up.

Re: Another new home for Scottish Elises?
And posts are limited to 2000 characters which for some of the technical posts, especially rebuilds, is quite limiting. If you want to keep it all in one post at the top of the thread.

One other thing on discord. If you are already on here try and keep your original user name. Just for the sake of identity.

Don’t forget we already have a Facebook group as well.
Only one question, how do you make it findable for potential new members?

Re: 111R rebuild continued .......
In that vane I have got some new bits arrive for the car. https://i.imgur.com/Kmq61NJ.jpg New billet master cylinder which is up a size from standard and should shorten brake pedal travel. Will install this once the new rear discs and pads arrive. Also have the rear brake pipe to replace as per the ...

Re: 111R rebuild continued .......
Realised I haven't updated this thread in a while but she failed her first go around at the MOT, turns out the cat has given up the ghost which wasn't entirely a surprise if I am honest. Fortunately I had a spare original so swapped it out and fitted 2 x new Lambda sensors as I couldn't get the old ...

Re: Update on my S1
Gull wing, really! I all seriousness though, solid plan but don't underestimate how much work that is. With the front clam off towing post is a must. Not much to find crusty under the clam, bar the rad not a great deal under there, head light brackets maybe in poor condition. Suspension refresh woul...
