Re: 18 great years...

Sorry to hear about the end of your Elise Campbell, but like you already said you've other things to think about and looking forwards not backwards is the thing to do.

On the bright side, your first post shows all the memories you got to make and they're something you'll always have!

Re: Show us your Tractors :-)

Finally had some sunshine here so thought I'd cut the grass. It's not proper tractor but it'll have to do  http://i67.photobucket.com/albums/h311/twhp101/P1040570_zps4a5905ff.jpg http://i67.photobucket.com/albums/h311/twhp101/P1040569_zps4d15f342.jpg http://i67.photobucket.com/albums/h311/twhp1...

Re: Show us your Tractors :-)

Waits for the Paine brothers.... ooohhhhh I could show you some tractor pics  I do have some pictures somewhere but no idea where. I could do a picture of my tractor mower though. It's a Honda - far too fast (5 forward gears and only ever cut in 1 or 2) but not in the same way as the thing in ...

Re: What a joke.......

I must admit to being surprised at the view that it's the government's fault or responsibility if somebody dies on any road. Driving is a pretty dangerous activity and suggesting anyone other than the driver is responsible I think is absolving personal responsibility in attempt to shift the blame. I...

Re: Plot me a course though France

As Andy says August can be slow. In fact anywhere remotely popular will be absolutely jammed with coastal areas the worst - it seems like the whole of France goes on holiday in August. The direct route down the motorways will take 11-12 hours unless you're really on a mission (don't do more than 30k...

Not sure when more information is available, but if anyone knows anything about which hotels we're staying in please let me know (by PM if it hasn't officially been announced), and I'll look into booking my own room. Anyone else got a spare bed? Hey Tom If i dont have a pax I should do - although y...

Re: French Frolic 11 - 2013

Figured you'd have your car Tom. I wasn't really offering a pax seat as it's usually full with my luggage/tools/spares/helmet, etc. Plus it's not the most comfortable/sociable! Not heard of hotels yet but I would think there should be plenty of spare beds on the go. :) I should've read your/Pete's ...
