It's my sisters 50th this year, and she has expressed an interest in going to the Brittish GP.

Q1. I am I to late?

Q2. If not, does anyone have recommendations of who to book with?
(preferably a package. Tickets, Hotel, Transport)

Thank you for any input.

Re: F1

Why not give the teams that get to Q3 a set of tyres for for that session and that session only. To be given back after Q3 and not to be used on race day. That way there is no avantage for not going out. As a spectator trackside I would feel pretty sort changed if only 5 of the 10 cars came out. Alt...

Not free, but I use NDrive. A lot better than TomTom. 19.99 Euro for UK. 39.99 Euro for Western Europe.

Mary, Mungo and Midge. Trumpton.

Can't believe none of the Techies haven't mentioned HOW! or Magpie.

They say you can tell the age of a person, by who out of Blue Peter you had a crush on. Sarah Greene, hubba hubba!

Re: F1 on the Beeb - take our survey!

I went for, "the best that the BBC can offer." Thought about the feeds thing, but I upgraded this year to HD, and a big part of that reason was F1.

Sky will not be getting any money from me. For the annual subscription amount, I could go and see one live, and I might just do that.

Re: Freeveiw how was your switchover .....??

I believe the analog signal is being switched off today (22nd) around Tillycoultry (not sure what transmitter it's served by). A few months ago my uncle (82) bought himself a freeview TV, and I went up and tuned all the digital channels for him. A question for anyone in and around that area. Will th...

Re: AA renewal.

You have to take Cashback sites as a bit of a game, as payments aren't guaranteed, and if they do show, can take months to turn up in your account. The two I use are Quidco and Topcashback. I thought in the begining it was a bit of a marketing scam, and I would be inundated with spam emails. In trut...

Re: AA renewal.

Got my renewal last week £224. Phoned and said I would be leaving, but that I would be signing back up straight away again. The equivalent cover for new members is £165, and Topcashback.co.uk are offering £50.50 for AA cover over £100. I explaned this would make me a saving of £105. He then took £85...

Re: Birthday time: Xbox or PS3??? (NLC)

No definitive answer, I have both, with Move and Kinect. Ps3 - GT5, Bluray, free online gaming, I love film downloads, Move. Xbox - More games available, online gaming "Better" but subscription to pay, kinect. Do you have a bluray player at the moment, if not, are you a collector/renter of DVDs? Wou...

Re: Portable Hard Drives (NLC)

Only if you have usb 3.0 on your laptop, or you can retro fit a usb 3.0 pci card in to your PC. You might be better with 2x 500GB drives like the WD passport. The 1TB ones are based on a 3.5" hard drive and require a seperate power supply, were as the smaller ones (2.5") take power from the usb conn...

Nipped in to Ocean Terminal yesterday as I had persuaded Linda that, as it's her birthday soon, that it would be a good idea to upgrade her 1st Gen Nano. I had my eye on a Cowon J3 for her, but she eventually went for the i9 (apparently size is everything, and fortunately for me she likes small :win...
