Re: Hello Forum

Welcome, Michael. Great to have another international member!

Where exactly in Switzerland are you based?

And what tracks do you use - assume CH still doesn’t have any?

Peter Bennett on here is loosely based in CH. Zurich area. But he’s long since sold his Lotuses [emoji27]

Re: 2bular - credible alternative - S3 Elise S

If you buy a hanger 111 pipe and Jim finds out you’ll never get your 2bular [emoji23] I’m never getting one anyway it seems so what’s to lose [emoji23] Thanks D! Shall look into that too. In shock news, CMC may just have wielded The Force and it’s to arrive Friday. Train your thoughts on it, people...

2bular - credible alternative - S3 Elise S

I’ve a 2bular QP tailbox on order via CMC. Since about start of this year [emoji849] Craig is doing his best to get it built and delivered by the 2bular elves but I’m close to giving up hope. Currently running a factory-supplied Lotus Stage 3. V fruity and lovely but too loud for English tracks. So ...

How’s the surface?

It’s my fave “local” road but was a bit broken up last time I drove it.

Re: Have I done the right thing?

Not quite. The off the road theory very much applies. When you want to do a track day. Or get out on a (rare) warm and dry sunny day. Or really fancied that special commute. Etc. Except the car’s broken. Again. And you’ve not got round to getting it fixed. Anyway no matter! It’s all about the fun an...

Have I done the right thing?

Yup

Always something to go bang on a car of that age.

And more and more creative solutions required as parts get tougher to cons by.

Either that or it’s off the road awaiting fixes while the good weather passes you by.
