Re: 2030 - No more new ICE

A good effort. Liking that.

Was wondering why I hadn’t noticed it. Then remembered. Rarely been allowed out the county this year innit [emoji6]

Folks could charge up while they watch Falkirk FC work their magic!

Re: 2030 - No more new ICE

From the Guardian article:

“To really help the revolution get to full power before 2030 we need a concerted effort from local authorities”

Ha. Therein lies one major hurdle.

Re: 2030 - No more new ICE

Good to hear, Ross.

Will be a long time before the situation concerns us directly. Had plans for an EV purchase earlier this year but those were binned when lockdown stalled my business.

We’ll let others blaze the trail and flush out the bugs meantime [emoji6]

I still think infra. Lot of my driving is well beyond local. I’m not alone.

Tesla have thrown money at theirs. Who else will.

Re: 2030 - No more new ICE

The charging infrastructure is the challenge.

If only the gov hadn’t spent their nest egg on some hair brained scheme to shave a bit off the Manchester-London train slog eh ...

Re: Hamil7on

Good points Mike.

Maxy is young, feisty and increasingly experienced. Even Lewis made young gun mistakes in heat of the moment. I think the Flying Dutchman will make it big. In the right car, as ever!

This just gets better and better.

Hm. Ingenious but the forward strap and saddle-on-the roof look pretty sketchy [emoji23]

Where’d you get the rack?

That would be a nice meet. Socially distanced teas in your yard, Iain?
