Am about to courier a pair of Sparcos from Aberdeenshire to Linlithgow. Personally. In my own van.

Re: Leccy cars
Nope. Would involve a new mortgage or lottery win. Not special enough I’m afraid. And BEV doesn’t fit our use cases in any way.
Funky things though - saw round one at launch. Good luck!

Re: Best of British 2024 Edition - Lotus on Track - 28/29 October
Lunch break the track may be in use for a Donnie client - but I’m to check anyway [emoji1303]
My plan is 3 laps National (9k - tight!) or 2 laps International (8k - perfect [emoji1787])
Ed’s in too.
I’ll need a shower as well [emoji15][emoji1787]

Re: Best of British 2024 Edition - Lotus on Track - 28/29 October
Attn all running types… Donington Park sometimes opens the track for walkers / runners, at the end of play. So whilst sunset is against us on Monday (16.41 [emoji22]), there might be a chance to access the track on foot. Am also checking whether we could use the lunch break! No guarantees - Andy Swi...

Re: Noob here!
Welcome, Fran! You may have found a sweet spot with your choice on S2 111S. If outright speed is not your goal then also look at the Elise S from approx 2005 to 2009 ish. 134bhp Toyota engine, not high revvy like 111R. A fair alternative to 111S and is a further mild “evolution” in the model lifespa...

Re: Bilstein damper refurb
Shakedown successful. Noises what noises. Bloody silent! [emoji1787] Reminded that like many car bits, these wear gradually and you don’t actually realise how wrecked they are until you refresh. A whole orchestra of “Elise noises” has disappeared. Serene. Oh and the dampers ride great. Shug reminded...

Re: Bilstein damper refurb
Well they’re all back on the car. Just the undertray to refit and then a shakedown drive. Will I notice anything different? Who knows.
But hopefully they won’t be leaking like before, at least.
