Speedline Turini with part worn A048R fitted
I'm selling various bits from my VX220 turbo at the moment, including; 1. Speedline Turini wheels in 16" front and 17" rear, anthracite powder coat with Yokohama A048R LTS spec tyres, 195/50x16 fronts and 225/45x17 rears. The tyres are about half worn having done a couple of track days and a thousan...

NACA duct and pipework to driect cool air to the heat source sounds like a good idea. The VXT turbo has an additional NACA duct in the undertray (3 ducts rather than 2 in the 2.2) to draw cool air through the engine bay and via the turbo ducting/chimney out through the engine cover vents. Lotus spen...

Yeah, I didn't think it was too bad. Very busy at times, especially in one session where I drove through the pits 3 times and still could not find enough space to get some clear laps in  I had enough power to get past the Carrera, M5s and the Cosworths, and with a bit of extra corner speed was...

Nice video Andy. Bit of a nightmare being passed by Randy's car before the safety car board was shown, as it looked like you were shaping up for a good battle over the last few laps with the 3 Elises in front. I notice Randy's car passed you under waved yellows at Woodcote just before the safety boa...

The SE contingent continues to grow! Who's next? Would really love to. Been keeping an eye on the regs for the last 12 months. Fitted the SD full cage recently to get back into hillclimbing in the Modified sports car class, but would only need a transponder and cut-out to meet Class C regs.....

If it is roughly the same mountings as the VX, then a full day to remove it would be more than enough, even allowing for the odd awkard to get to bolt. On the VX you need to remove the passenger seat and bulkhead cover to get access to the 4 main bulkhead bolts inside the passenger cabin. The 2 litt...

Cannondale F800 Mountain Bike
Bit of a long shot, but I'm selling my mountain bike at the moment. Adjustable front forks, disc brakes and next to no use since it was last serviced.
If you know of anyone looking for good quality second hand bike in excellent condition give me a shout please.

Genuine Lotus Harness Bar
Hiya. Hope you don't mind a VX220 owner cross posting an advert from the VX site, but it's a Lotus Elise part so thought there might be some local interest on here. I'm fitting a full SD roll cage to my VX220 at the moment, so the harness bar Lotus fitted to my car back in 2003 is surplus to require...

Round Knockhill my standard VXT was 2 seconds quicker than my standard NA. Cornering speeds were more or less the same. Terminal speed on both straights accounted for the lower lap time.
Glad we've got that one sorted

At the risk of being banned from SE  you could also consider a VX Turbo. You can pick up a decent one for 14-15k. That would get you a newer car ('03 or '04) and leave 5k for mods compared with an early S1 plus 10k for an engine swap. I've got 255lbft from a remap and exhaust mod, and plan a t...
