Red S2 - Park Ave. Dunfermline around 1730

:wavey

I was the bloke emerging from one of the houses who probably grinned a bit inanely at you, started to wave, then realised I was on foot (ahem).

Re: Europa

To complement the 340rR it makes a lot of sense - as fast as you ever need for the road and very habitable for a daily driver. Can you get them serviced at a VX dealer... ;) :) You wouldn't want to get a VX serviced at VX dealer so taking a Europa in would be a very, very bad idea (although I'm sur...

Just one thing to add - C++ isn't just an object oriented add-on to C (although that's sort of how it started). There's loads more stuff - a separate standard library, and support for generic programming for example. It's a very powerful language, but very difficult (too difficult IMO) and has far m...

Which is fair enough IMO :P Who wants to hear that they just sold their car too cheaply, or who wants potential buyers put off by comments that it's too expensive?!? Personally I'd rather let anyone comment (as long as it doesn't cause the site owner any legal problems). Free speech on this sort of...

17K for a 4 yr old VXT is very optimistic at the moment IMO, so I think some private sellers are just being unrealistic. There are some up on the vx220.org site at considerably less e.g. 14K for a stage 2: http://www.vx220.org.uk/forums/index.php?showtopic=57211 Less than 14K for a standard 04 plate...

Yep, I'm a patient. I think I have an appt. soon :( so I'll say hi I objected to the speedbumps but to no avail. And as for the parking and the one way system - don't get me started. Watch for the last speed bump on the slope before turning right into Park Ave - it's easy to scrape the undertray on ...

Hi Karen - I'll keep an eye out. The kids would *love* a 340R 8) I'm walking along there with the kids on the way to school at about 0840 most mornings. I'm the fat bloke with the poor dress sense. Luckily the kids seem to have got their genes from the postman and have been described as "remarkably ...

Exige - Park Ave, Dunfermline

Titanium, 55 plate 8) . You were parked outside the dentist at about 0840 - hope it wasn't anything too painful. Kids got quite excited as I think it's the first Exige they've seen in the flesh :D - we then had a long discussion about the merits of semi slick tyres and whether "blue Vauxhalls are fa...
