Hi Lads, Can anyone tell me where I can buy some new steering rack rubber gaters / Covers, the ones I have on at the mo are torn..... :cry: I have tried Dingbro / Autosave but they don't do a set..... it is for a 1998 car. I stay in Livingston but heading up to Aberdeen area next weekend to fit them...

Guess who never got caught 8) 8) The reason for this as after I took it out for a spin its own engine heat has done the the trip, so no need to steel the one that must be obeyed hair dryer :wink: Been up to Perth today and not even a splutter :D :D Thamks for all the advise could not of been as bad ...

A hair dryer eh :roll: It has been raining all day here so have not had the chance to try any thing :( but will have a go I'm sure now that this will be the problem. The wife’s hair dryer is black so maybe she would not see my greasy finger prints :lol: well not until she put on the war paint........

Thanks Robin, and the rest of the lads.

I will make a start to this and see if it helps. The car has been outside in all kinds of very wet weather, so could easly be the cause.
