So i'm not the only one with an E-class then?

Not quite the handling for the twisties but as you say, great for the M8 run! Sit back, relax & let the car drive you rather than you driving the car.

Having recently sold my TT (225) I'll give you my tuppence worth aswell. I had mine at a trackday with you guys earlier on this year, a nice sunny evening at Knockhill. While being able to keep up on the straight I found that the Lotus was carrying more speed through the corners than I could manage ...

I use a product called Autogloss (got it from Floorbrite Products Ltd in Rutherglen but it is more widely available), comes in a 5 litre bottle & costs about £10. Decant into a smaller bottle & apply with an old sponge, saves spraying it all over your wheels & bodywork.

"You done something with your car as it normally looks like an ashtray but actually looks like a sports car today", big complement that as he is not very good at talking to real people as he...

Good call sanjoy

Cheers

Hope you waxed it afterwards as claying the car takes any polish or wax off and leaves your paint unprotected.

Remember you can use diluted car shampoo in a spray bottle as a lubricant for the clay bar instead of detailing spray - works out much cheaper aswell :D

Also, split the clay bar up into smaller pieces, if you then drop it you haven't ruined the whole bar.

Great evening, thoroughly enjoyed the experience & hope I never got in anyones way. The TT may be ok on the roads but as a track car it's too soft (excluding driver limitations) Wish I had asked for a pax lap in an Elise before the night finished though. ps there aren't any pic of it are there? Than...

How much tread would you expect (on average) to use on a couple of hours at the track? (I'm selling the car soon & they have 4mm at the moment & don't want to have to put new tyres on before it goes!) Thanks How long is a piece of string? Not sure how hard the TT will be on tyres, or how hard you'l...
