To me, it seems a good idea to have an instructor available for hire at tracknights, but obviously its gotta be through knockhill, and not privately like we arranged. Hopefully you'll still do the instruction, but through the proper channels cheers neil If its done properly (which is my fault it wa...

Whoa! Knockhill already had a procedure in place for trackday organisers but as I'm only a humble instructor I didn't realise what was involved in the booking procedure. Its not expensive in relative terms - so maybe if a few of you got together and spoke to the track day organisers about the extra ...

Hi guys! Bad news first - I won't be doing instructing again in that way. I didn't know Knockhill offered instrcutors to Tracknight organisers as I'd worked for other trackday organisers elsewhere but then again that was airfield work so it is my fault for not checking. Sorry! Good news - I was real...

MacIntyres

Scotsman Corner - formerly known as MacIntyres - has always had a funny line, even before the new first corner. Just out of interest the T-cars that weren't using the kerb on the left on entry to MacIntres were the ones who were getting help from some of our instructors. I've never used the entry ke...

I've got you both - and Greg I've got you and your friend both in too. Only one guarenteed place left - anything after that depends on circuit downtime for red flags. As I said before though, if you're further down the list and I don't get to you on the night you get first shout at the next track da...

Knockhill June 9th

Hi Guys! Its all confirmed now - I will be available at Knockhill for the track day from 1-5pm. £20/20mins What I'm going to do is simply start a "waiting list" of names - I should be able to fit in at least 8 time slots but I'm happy to take a list of reserve names in case of no-shows or breakdowns...

Knockhill Instruction

Hello! My name is Sarah Playfair - I'm one of Knockhill's regular instructors although I'm actually self-employed. I instruct for Knockhill's Race and Rally Experiences, Skid Pan Courses and One to One lessons (now known as Hy-performance Drives). I've posted a more detailed intro about me in the Ne...

Racing Instructor

Hi Guys! I was told about your site by Neil and I've met a few of you up at Knockhill already. I work as a self employed Racing Instructor - mostly at Knockhill due to geography - and I race in the UK Formula Ford Championship. I've instructed for several Lotus owners either on Tracknights or in a o...
