Re: S1 Tyres
There's nothing quite like a fresh set of tyres. Shame to put them on the road!

S1 Geo' Aberdeen(shire)
As I'm having ADO8Rs fitted, as recommended I'll be looking to have a full geometry check performed. It would be preferable to be around the Inverurie locale but anywhere around the 'shire would be fine therefore any recommendations would be much appreciated.
Re: S1 Tyres
AD08Rs ordered. Took me twenty years to decide, no point in rushing

Re: S1 Tyres
I'm just glad there are still so many helpful, knowledgeable folk on here and appreciate all of the comments. I've been guilty of ignoring the S1 the past few years, being out of work meant I was cutting spending on anything "unnecessary" but now I'm back working it's time to give it the TLC it dese...
Re: S1 Tyres
Thanks Campbell, it's as if I'm new to the S1 despite owning it from new, I've just never strayed from OEM spec' so being a bit too cautious.
Re: S1 Tyres
I know the other recommended tyres will fit the rims, but why wouldn't I just go for the original sizes, ie. 185/55 x 15 & 205/50 x 16 ?. The OEM setup may be a compromise but I don't want to alter it too much by fitting stiffer tyres. However as the P-Zero was designed for the Elise (I think) with ...
Re: S1 Tyres
Yep. In which case, if C-Drive still available, otherwise Toyo...More than adequate for what you need Robin. I had a similar concern about going back to a track focused tyre after using T1r's for a while. It was Craig that eventually persuaded me to go to Yokohama. If you know it is going to be com...
Re: S1 Tyres
Is it advisable to stick with the original profile size ?. I would prefer to not goo for a reduced profile if it makes the day to day handling suffer. From what I've seen any sizes being recommended are lower profile, but not sure if that's due to supply issues or if most folk just prefer the stiffe...
Re: S1 Tyres
Thanks folks, looks like the ADO8R may be the way to go. I'll give Craig a call.
S1 Tyres
Ok so i know this will have been done to death over the years but I'm a late arrival to the party with my original P Zeros now 21 years old so i will ask all the same. I am looking for road use tyres only, that will not adversely affect the handling and won't look "wrong" by being too fat or super l...

Re: S1 Tailpipes
Larini fitted, a bit cock eyed unfortunately and no adjustment possible. Sounds ok at idle but could be a bit boomy on the road, at least it's not rusty.

CAT Orientation
I removed the CAT and exhaust a couple of weeks ago, and now have the new Larini exhaust to fit. I forgot to note the orientation of the cat before I removed it, can anyone advise ?. It's the original item, heat shield on one side, no markings suggesting flow direction.
