Any Exige would have both cars on the corners :D

Still think Andy's Impreza would be very handy around KH, but I'm not sure the fuel tank if big enough for it to complete a lap  It has a smaller fuel tank to save weight, and consumes what fuel there is at an alarming rate!

Subaru equivalent (9.33 1/4 mile) and it's a local car (few miles from Edinburgh). Has since done a 9.1 second 1/4 mile (@160mph), and top speed over 210mph and still accelerating before running out of runway. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iIgSNnfXSUU and cruising past at 207mph http://video.google...

Subaru have a free fuel offer on at the moment. The SIDC are running a banner ad for them. This is the first time they've run an ad with us, and we'd like them to get as many "hits" as possible, as it will potentially mean more advertising revenue in the future :) If you could quickly visit our foru...

I've only got the kit lens just now until I can afford some better lenses. At about £25 extra over the price of the body itself, it's better than nothing, and I can probably sell it for more than that on Ebay in a month or two. At least I can use the camera and find out it's limitations (ie not wide...

Try http://photography-on-the.net/forum/ for Canon related talk. http://bbs.scoobynet.com/photography-360/543761-understanding-photography.html is also a good concise thread that tells you most of the basic of photography. I've just got a Canon 400D with the basic kit lens (was my birthday yesterday...

Kenny,

haven't had time to call them yet, but they should be if there's nothing else on that day.

Ed,

I've been asked "What are the sizes and prices involved."

If you know what the sizes and prices that Ronnie quoted for the 48s, then our contact will see what he can do.

Cheers

Thanks Ed,

I suspected that might be the case, hence the advice for Andy to shop around. Unfortunately, many of our members live down south, so can't benefit from Ronnie's excellent service.

Hi Andy,

no it's not a deal with Ronnie, it's an exclusive deal with a wholesaler that one of our members has connections with. The prices should be better than most on-line outlets.

Don't know how they compare to Ronnie's prices, which of course include fitting, so I'd certainly shop around.

There's a fundamental problem with the SPECS cameras, in that they cost much more to install and run than the revenue they bring in, so any safety camera partnership would most likely have to run them at a loss. If it wasn't all about revenue generation, and genuine concerns for safety, then why wou...

Yokohama Tyres

Not sure if any of the sizes are suitable for Elises/Exiges, other than the 225/45x17 rears on S2 cars, but the SIDC have managed to negotiate a good deal on some Yokohama tyres (including A048s) Price includes postage and VAT, but no fitting (you have to arrange that yourself). Extra discount if yo...
