Re: Pesky google keeping tabs on SE
Quite impressive actually... I was doing searches for "helicoils" and "VVC" and on the first page of my results was the thread I'd started on SE the day before

Re: K Cylinder Head Helicoil Inserts in Aberdeen?!?
Dropped it off at Falconers last night after a renewed plea on Saturday! Disconnected the injector and drove it out to Blackburn on 3 cylinders, very embarassing. So they're gonna do it in-situ, just keeping fingers crossed they dont phone up and say "Poke this they're too far down in there, come ta...

Re: Max Mosely
I hate the gutter press... in fact all newspapers are varying levels of chunts. What gives them the right to f*ck someone's life up like they do, even if they are a cretin. Is this particular episode all borne out of some sort of craving for "revenge" for what happened to Maclaren last year  C...

Re: K Cylinder Head Helicoil Inserts in Aberdeen?!?
Would that be Precision Engine Services? Saw them on a phone book listing, but no more you say? Bummer! Had a look again last night and I can see why people wouldn't fancy it, those plugs are a loooong way down. But then I had a look at the access available to remove the components required to get t...

Re: GT5 Prologue - PS3 - arrives tomorrow!
Prologue is like the mother of all Betas, great idea for them and an appetizer for us.
Downloaded it last night... awesome. Now, how can I get a G25 set up in the living room without the Mrs noticing...

EU Directive - Crash Helmets for Convertible Users
Saw this on another forum :o This world has gone mad!! From April next year a new EU directive becomes law in all member states forcing drivers and passengers of all open top cars to put on open face crash helmets when in the car with the roof in the lowered position and for cars with old fashioned ...

New HG set will have everything gaskety in it, belts come off so change them, tensionner too, depending on age water pump change that, may as well change the thermostat while you a...

Re: Have I warped my brake discs?
Mine were doing the same at the weekend, dug the VX out after about 4 months "hibernation..." and the rust seems to be really bedded in. Might have to take them off and get the wire brush on the drill... Be careful when driving with left foot on brake and right on throttle... I did that last time I ...

Re: K Cylinder Head Helicoil Inserts in Aberdeen?!?
Well Falconers (local head guru) wont do it in-situ, maybe they've had a bad experience as they did my mate's Alfa last year. So it looks ilke I may have to take the head off (or wait for my mechanic uncle to arrive back from offshore...), bugger! I'm assuming some eejit cross threaded or over tight...
