Re: Interested in an Evora

Test drove an Evora with Brandon this morning - loved it! Much preferred it to the Cayman S I drove a couple of weeks ago. The hunt is now on for the right car. http://www.pistonheads.com/classifieds/used-cars/lotus/evora/lotus-evora-v6-4/2006295?isexperiment=true This one is pretty much my perfect...

Cheers Ross

Tut, I'm sure I can be persuaded to have a run. Will give myself a few weeks to get used to the car before attempting to keep up with you though

S160 gone?

Few calls on the Porker "the service is due in June, will you service before sale?"
"Ehhh, no I won't!"

Viewing on Sunday!

160 is now sitting with Brandon. Kept it nice and simple. Really is a nice example for someone to get their hands on. Hope it stays in Scotland

Re: Who Knows This Car?

Tidy. 3 owners in 2 years says "three people tried and failed"...but you know what you are getting into, Cammy, so why not :-) Not quite 3 owners in 2 years. First owner was JCT (if I remember correctly). I should know - it's my old car. I decided that the S wasn't for me - I love the Evora but wou...

Re: Who Knows This Car?

Don't know the car but a quick chat to Brandon & I am sure he will give you the details. Alternatively if data protection gets in the way I am sure he can pass on your details. However with 3 owners I would speculate that Lotus management may be the 1st owner. Also worth trying the Lotus Forums sit...

Would appreciate any history surrounding the car and feedback from Team SE. Please post any comments or e-mail me direct at callum@sescotland.co.uk

Re: Sienna Brown

Steve, I'd buy an Evora before Exige I thought that you were thinking of getting both Gareth. Anyone want a C63....and I'll throw in a C4S? S1 Exige and Evora wanted! :D Steve. Ah, S1 Exige will replace the C4S...of course... :D :D I know someone with a lovely 160 sport that would be just as desira...

Re: Evora Advice

I've had my Evora 18 months now which is a record for me! Excellent car for any use really, mine is used for a mix of gym runs, weekends away, been on "track" once and gets used regularly for a 50 mile commute to Dunfermline. Only comments is they are a bit muted standard so sports exhaust, decat a...

Re: Evora Advice

Hi Cammy - long time no see (I think I saw you driving a white 5 series touring? a few weeks back) - hope the business is doing well :thumbsup Can't offer any advice on the Evora other than make sure the kids fit in the back  as they've not got masses of space. PS did I mention the new owner...

Re: Evora Advice

Am also planing on getting back in a Lotus in the near future by scratching the Evora itch, will watch this with interest. Initially wanted an S but am coming round to N/A one as on paper there is not that much difference speed wise. Think the S also has an appetite for tyres. Seloc techwiki has lo...

Re: Evora Advice

cheers guys. Lots of good memories from the old days hooning around KH and driving carefully through the Highlands & Islands of course.
Can't seem to find the time these days to have such fun so thinking the Evora is the way forward for a more sedate, but enjoyable Lotus experience :thumbsup

Re: Evora Advice

Hi Andy I was thinking of a 911, but to be honest got a bit fed up with the 997 C4S when I had it. Great car but felt quite uninvolved. The GT3 will be a different beast all together I'm sure :thumbsup Something about Lotus just can't get away from. Never drove an Evora S so might be worth trying ou...
