Re: Painting Exhaust Pipes

I used hamerite barbeque paint to touch up my car's tail pipes (probably not what you're wanting to do) - seems to work ok.

Re: Wiper Blade.

My 2001 S2 had an S1 arm which i had to change to an S2 arm.

The volvo truck wiper which fits the S2 arm, and works an absolute treat is the CHAMPION T65H04.
It costs about £7 iirc and is a 26" blade, but doesn't foul the screen surround at all.

Re: Luke 4 Point Harness

My brand new Sabelt harnesses only cost £110 each from ebay about a year ago. - not really that much more expensive.

Re: Wiper Blade.

I recently swapped my S1 wiper arm to an S2 one, and then fitted the wiper from a Volvo truck (£7 from partco) - i found the details on Seloc. The truck wiper blade is absolutely brilliant! - and FAR FAR FAR better than any others i've tried before. p.m. me if you want the details, i've still got th...

I put sabelt 4 point harnesses into my car last year when i was working in the spinal injuries unit in glasgow. - One afternoon i saw 2 patients in the same clinic who had dislocated their thoracic spine as they twisted out of the seat around the 3 point seatbelt as they crashed - one was a 911. As ...

4point harness friendly MOT in glasgow??

Hi, guys. I need an mot (infact i forgot so it's 2 weeks overdue! - oops!) the problem is i've fitted Sabelt FIA certified 4 point harnesses since my last mot - no British Standard stamp etc, so technically not MOT friendly, but from reading posts here and on Selc*ck plenty of folk seem to get them ...

The matiz mirror works great on S1s and early S2s. - if the ball-and-socket joint is on the back of the mirror it should work fine! later cars have the ball and socket joint on the top of the mirror - i've no idea what works with that one - sorry! your best bet is probably to do what i did - slide y...

iirc there are 3 hex head bolts that hold the whole internal light assembly in place and one of these also holds the arch-liner in place - don't undoo these. the three ones you need are up there near them, one high, and two lower down. mine (which are early s2 and so are different from yours) are qu...
