Thanks Ali, looks like my new plate is perfectly legal. I have a private plate with 5 characters, so even with my shortened plate it still has a good 1 1/2" margin at the sides. The font and spacing are all standard

i went to kwik fit to get that tyre checked. At first check, the guy said you are on the limit not under. He then told me to reverse so he could check the other side (just like the copper ask me to do :evil: ) and found one bit that was below the limit. he said i was very harshly done by the copper!...

Thanks for your input guys. i think i'll go and get my tyre checked as the whole tyre is not below the limit. i'll keep you posted.

I was stopped at Great Southern Road about a hour and a half ago (8ish). it was a white marked jag. Got my car serviced today by FPC and everything went smoothly. Me and my gf got a lift into town and picked up when the car was done. they even remembered that i took my car (corsa) there to get it super chipped about 5/6 years ago
