Re: S1 Audi Elise
Hoping I won’t need one with that much torque
I’ve got a big and small dewalt that should see anything off.
All the bits ordered and been offered an engine crane now too so just need to find the time

Re: S1 Audi Elise
So an update, I have managed a whopping 291 miles between MOTs
And to top it off the clutch clave cylinder failed on its way to this years MOT. The good part is it’s inside the gearbox which means I’ll need to remove the engine to fix it.
Does anyone have an engine crane I can borrow?

Nothing to update really I’m afraid. It’s been in hibernation so I’ve been working on finishing the garage.

Re: Interior size difference between Elise and Exige
I did notice the exige was never cramped for me 6ft 3 15stone but my s1 Elise with harness bar was almost undriveable until I spaced out the OMP wheel.

Re: Interior size difference between Elise and Exige
Strange because they are identical, maybe just the feeling of having a bigger car around you?

Re: Fog / hazard light switches
Top work
Worth mentioning one type is easy to take an apart (I think the TWR ones) and the others disassemble themselves into 20 pieces and are almost impossible to put back together.
Contact cleaner and compressed air works wonders without taking them apart
