No Sealed unit that MMC will tell you needs replaced. They also drill a hole in the bottom of the new fan casing to drain any water (apparently on advice from lotus) The burning smell will stop when the fan gives up (ie next few days) Also MMC will charge an arm and a leg for the unit and fitting......

A quick update on my braking issue. You will remember that I had a problem with apparent disc warping and a grinding noise from the front left under moderate braking for the last couple of weeks after fitting new front pads. Short story is that I had a bilateral front brake disc failure caused by 2 ...

No, Stu's are vented but just not cross-drilled; grooved instead.

I am having major issue with my braking at the moment.
