Re: A90 average speed cameras a roaring success

Not exactly word for word but this morning on the radio I heard,

"We believe it will lead to a reduction of accidents in the future"

Not sure if it was police or ministers but to me I instantly thought the stats must be bad.

Re: Utility Supplier

Excellent John, thanks again!

They were the only ones that seemed to be independent of post code, every person in the office I got to try ended with the same price as tut, no end for the tariff and a lot easier to deal than the shower of sh*t that was Scottish power.

Very pleased!

Re: Utility Supplier

I've just changed suppliers to Bulb who have decent customer service and reasonable rates, despite being 100% renewable energy suppliers. Electricity is 13.51p and gas is 2.52p. It's not a fixed term tariff though - just their standard rate which is subject to change, but there are no exit fees and...

Re: Utility Supplier

Ive been with Scottish Power and reasonably happy until the fixed tariff ended and Electric went from 13 to 17. In the process of getting a new rate Ive been on hold for hours and literally had enough. Used the call back service, said the call back would be 2 hours 35 mins. Actually was 3 hours 10 a...

Re: Geek stuff

I guess strictly speaking not mainstream but does anything get close to a K series R500? What were they, 230 or 250?

Re: French Frolic April Fool?

My first time in France was with Andy G and coming off the boat he lead a group of around 5 of us. I thought initially the pace was a little extreme, especially given the UCR box in the 340R but soon relaxed and assumed it was the norm. Then we hit the first speed camera, I lifted, the only one whic...

Re: French Frolic April Fool?

Surely this cant be true??

A quarter of speeding offences in France are committed by foreign motorists. During the summer holiday months, that increases to half.

Thats mental! :o

Re: Has anybody changed their vote about independence??

I agree 100%, doesnt matter if she is ahead in the polls, its a brave thing to do. She has been slated for not being an elected PM, she has been slated for divisive politics. This will hopefully bring the "country" together, hopefully silence and perhaps spell the end for Sturgeon and allow May som...
