Ye. If you're careful, you dont need to remove the radiator surround.
The retaining bolt for the clamp has a very thin head, so dont loose it.

Re: pscan software for Lucus 5A5 fob issue?
Ive had a Pscan for years. Ive only used it for engine diagnostics and live value views on the dyno.
I didnt know it had an immobiliser function. I'll have a play with it again.

Re: S1 rear window fitting
I pulled mine off last night to have a look at this.
I have the sloping window. The seal runs the circumference of the window edge and is stuck on the face of the glass on the cockpit side.
Seal is approx 12mm in diameter, round/oval section.
I took pics if you want them emailed.

Re: S1 soft top repair
Thats much more like it. I didnt need a full replacement but would have gone that way if the cost of repair was more than half of new.

Re: S1 soft top repair
Hi, My soft top came apart at the seams, I sent it down to Allon Whytes. They did a fantastic job re stitching it and fitting a new front mounting rail. 1st class job but at that time they had a waiting list. Cheers How much was this, out of interest? Ive not had my hard top off for about 12 years ...

Re: S1 Elise Toe links / rod ends
Interesting when i removed the old snapped joint, the ball joint was almost solid. Probable failure was fatigue since all the force was transferred to the arm.

S1 Elise Toe links / rod ends
My outer has just snapped off.
Is there a cross ref part number or used on a other vehicle so i can possibly get quickly from the local motor factors?
Inner and outers if you have make / model / number
Cheers
