Re: Fireplaces - online
Worth giving Euan at https://www.gibsonandgoold.co.uk/
a call for advice. Is/was Gooldie on here. They supplied and fitted our stove but I think they also do fireplaces.

Re: Holidaying Abroad with Pets
Worth considering getting the rabies antibody titre blood test done George. There is a POSSIBILITY that the uk will be considered an unlisted third country meaning a return to pre-2014 (?) regulations. All gets a little bit of a faff timing-wise and a potential waste of money if that isn’t the case ...

Re: Spitfires over the Forth
You might be right in the replica line. Another crossed today and was low enough to appreciate size (and volume). Sounded much like the original but fitted with a silencer!

Re: Spitfires over the Forth
Could have possibly been replicas though they certainly sounded real including the lower rev and supercharger sound from what looked very much like a p51.
Have seen a similar collection at the goodwood revival (spitfire, hurricane, p51).

Spitfires over the Forth
Through in North Berwick this week and have seen a number of WW2 fighters flying overhead. Sometimes singly and sometimes in pairs. Sound amazing!
Any idea what they’re up to?

Re: Mountain bike rebuild advice
Just a quick look through the orange catalogues does confirm it is slightly older than 97 however, Orange didn’t release the c16r until their 95/96 range. Prior to that it was known as the clockwork.

It would seem to be my father-in-law's second home. He's bought a DB9, Arnage T, Continental GT Speed and Vantage from them in the last 8 years!

Re: Young driver insurance
Worth trying to add a parent to the policy as a named driver. I did that when I had my s1 and so long as they have a clean license it might help. Interestingly, they're now of an age they're a liability on the insurance instead of a benefit. Also, when getting quotes, think like an insurance company...
