Re: Have I done the right thing?

It's all pretty moot anyway cos Lotus and TVR aren't everyday cars, so we have to own another more useable vehicle, this negates the off-the-road theory. Jumping into Mini ownership shortly with an F56 Cooper which I'm looking forward to. 1st Mini since I sold mine about 30yrs ago :damnfunny Cost of...

Re: Anyone used TyreLeader?

Just to update this, tyres eventually turned up after 12 days (7 working days as there was a bank holiday weekend in there). All present and correct so as long as you’re not in a hurry then Tyre Leader are ok 👍🏼 Avoid Demon Tweeks like the plague. I'm coming up on 4 weeks for a pair of tyres and th...

Re: Have I done the right thing?

I'd say the higher maintenance figure (surely a grand is plenty per annum) is hugely offset by the lack of depreciation or even slight appreciation... ...and in addition - I've had the TVR over 2yrs now and not even spent a grand in that period - helps that I have the best independent place pretty m...

Re: Any recommended MOT stations near Dunfermline?

Generic chains like Kwik-fit have to be the worst place to take a specialist car like a Lotus. I'd say this applies to any car. I'm fortunate to have a guy I've been using for MOTs for around 28yrs  but he's a good honest guy who just happens to be one of the most reputable Alfa Romeo specia...

Selling a Cherished Number

I have a number which is no longer needed, sitting on retention.

It's a prefix plate Y7 RMB

Any ideas as to where I can best get a valuation and/or sell it?

Thanks in advance :cheers

Re: Leven track day at Knockhill Thursday 18th April

What's the story with passengers, is it a sign in and free to pax kinda set up? :cheers It was, and thank you to Kayfur for the pax laps, was brilliant to get a wee taste of Caterham again! I was there from about 2pm until nearly 6, so saw the cars from both sessions. Weather was great too 8) As Ed...
