Re: All roads lead to Lotus... or do they?

Great News! There are back seats in the M4? - if so; perfect family car! When we found out that Mrs S was expecting, I had just ordered a three door fiesta ST. Everyone said that would never work.... bollocks! - It worked perfectly! Babys are small, and contray to popular belief, you really don't ne...

Winter Tyres 205/45R16 & SEAT Alloy wheels

For sale, 4x Nakang NK Snow SV2 tyres, 205/45 R16 87H with SEAT Ibiza 2008 - 2017 FR alloy wheels. I bought these three years ago for my wife's car. We have just changed her car, so no longer need these wheels and tyres. Her car has done a total of 12K miles from new, over half of which was on the s...

Re: Leven VIP Invitation

I think the friendly, all welcome attitude on SE is great. On other groups I have been quite shocked to see a genuine anti Porche snobbery going on.. poor show IMHO. Always detest those "you save" price tickets that show the delta from a new price but on a used car. Bit cheeky. Sent from my SGP521 u...

Re: Leven VIP Invitation

I got offered £16.5k for my Elise SE (Macau Edition) S3 (2014) as a trade in for a new Elise... thats taking the pish It's the cost to change you need to look at - if they are offering discounts on the new car, they will likely "discount" / reduce the trade in value too. Works the other way - if th...

Re: Best hot hatch for £10k

I totally get the appeal of the UP GTi,... but can't help but think it's just a wee bit under powered... from what I have heard.

Best bet would be to line up some test drives, and see what tickles your fancy...

Re: CUP 220 - S CUP or Exige v6

I recently heard from a reliable source that the seat issue is as a result of Gailes' "weight saving" (actually cost cutting) programme. In PSA saving a few pennies here and there on a car will add up to big savings due to the volumes of cars produced. At lotus, saving a few pennies here and there w...

Re: Best hot hatch for £10k

How about 5x Clio 172/182? They are the defination of a hot hatch. And if you get five, then at any given point in time, you should have at least one in working condition :damnfunny
