Re: Anyone bought a new car recently?
Just upgraded Ann’s 2020 Kodiaq for an ex demonstrator 73 plate Kodiaq - a good deal as they are introducing a new version and want to clear ‘old stock’.

Re: Anyone bought a new car recently?
I had been looking at an Enyaq ( where do they get the names) but 7 seats suited the circumstances. Your fleet ticks all the boxes.

Re: Anyone bought a new car recently?
Made sense Campbell, 2 dogs, 2 Ukrainians & 2 of us, so 7 seater required and to be honest not regretted it for a moment.

Re: Anyone bought a new car recently?
Trimmed down the fleet due to reduction in mileage, still have the Evora but joined the SE Skoda appreciation club and replaced Jag & Mokka with a Kodiaq.

Re: My Emira has landed :-)
Hi Ian, I don’t and am sticking with my Evora for now, but brother and friend both do currently but both look like getting deposits back as they feel it’s been a bit of a rocky road - due dates now a year later than originally quoted, price rise before delivery and still not been able to secure test...

Re: My Emira has landed :-)
Apparently an 8% price rise for any Emira specced after May - which means all the i4s
I suppose it’s inevitable but not good news for deposit holders.

Re: Glasgow commuting knowledge
I use a multi- storey car park on High St if I take the car but we get a company discounted rate. Worth checking if there are season ticket deals with Q-park /NCP or any of the big companies

Re: Emira test drives Lotus Glasgow
He paid a deposit in June 2021 & was looking for a i4. The original date of now -ish was pushed to early 23 then late 23, with rumours of maybe 2024. The V6 test drive next month was going to be the decider on if it was worth waiting, I think the cancellation of the test drive might be the final str...

Agree with the comments, Great potential but would benefit from better organisation and a less random layout.

Re: Solar panels
We have had panels since 2012 and in FIT tariff terms still not recovered the purchase cost and we are on the highest FIT rate. We got some compensation for miss selling and If you factor in the reduction in our bills we are up on the deal bur that’s after 10 years. I have thought about battery ins...
