Fuse 8 was blown and that was stopping the tachometer from working and therefore feeding back to the ECU. Thanks but it is the rover K series engine. I was looking through elise parts and my throttle potentiometer seems to be missing the metal strip, could a faulty potentometer be the problem?

When I start my S2 elise the car revs increase and decrease every couple of seconds. This is accompanied with a fleshing MIL light. I have replaced the idle air control valve but this didn't solve the problem. Has anyone come across this problem? Does anyone have any ideas how to fix this?

Thanks I have had the door trim off and I couldn't see any screws to adjust the runners. Where are they located? I live near Aberdeen and recently bought the car from a lad at my work. He bought recovered after it was stolen and it still has a few small bits missing before I can get it on the road. ...

I have recently purchased an S2 elise, however both side windows are broken and won't wind up or down very easily.
