thanks mac and shug getting me down the fuel road, I went for 5 litres of fuel put it in turned the key and hey bisto, My face is slightly more red than usual, due you guys a pint some time. Still showing 14 litres on stack!

16 litres on gauge when I was driving, my gut feeling when you have fuel starvation car does not cut out right away, usualy you get feeling through the throtle easing of and it goes , putting foot down kills it.

I stay in Newburgh, I had a quick look for the inertia button but I think it is behind the itg filter, I will go out to the garage later remove filter and try it, the fuel pump makes it usual noise when ignition on and switched off,

i was having slight problems starting after washing, yesterday after washing it just would'nt start so out with wd40 still no joy,so off with distributer cap bad corrosion between connector ht to rotor arm order new bits from dingbro fitted started first time. I will say however it is the worst corr...

Cheers, all went well started engine keeping an eye on temp gauge, noticed no read out it normally comes on at 40ish, switched off, had a look wire broken on sender. I must have broken it putting pipes in or out. luckily it is a single connection, put a small spade on it stuck it on squirt of silico...

I am refilling my coolant, I have made my own pressure kit to push the coolant round the system, slight problem I do not have a pressure gage.
