Re: Range Rover L322 Experience

It was atrocious, bits fell off (literally, both of the motorised side steps fell off at different times), and overall it was so poorly engineered I swore then I would never have another LR product. Mr Rolfe had a late one so may chip in with som...

Re: New garage door - any supplier recommendations?

Daly Garage Doors fitted my sectional doors and electric openers about 5 years ago, been really happy with them, not had any issues. They are based in East Kilbride but says they cover the whole of Scotland so might be worth a look if you are struggling to find someone. https://www.dalygaragedoors....

Re: Driving to Morocco??

Philthy has summed up our trip pretty well, but I’d still go - even just for the photo opportunities!

Roads were, on the whole, in horrendous condition but i thought it was fun and friendly. But then when people saw us getting out that smart car, everyone was friendly.

Re: Anyone out there?

Still think back to the olden days; lots of fun had in Lotii over the years. Shug’s post on the other thread hit the nail on the head for me. Sliding about in a Merc 124 cabriolet at the moment when I get some peace and quiet from the kids

Noticed this too, my van (119 vito) is an absolute drift machine the last few days on the winters with warmer greasy roads.

Re: Silver s1 - Houston -T430

Big thanks to Jonathan for being geeky enough to identify an S1 number plate plinth floating in a very large puddle. The foolishness to go fishing for it and the compulsive Lotus hoarding disorder to keep it in his garage for nearly a year.......all that for a bottle of plonk :) If nothing, the spa...

Re: NC500 Bad Press

I read an article the other day about someone who has repeatedly been leaving nails scattered about on certain parts of the route. Insane.

Re: Garage Floors

They have been down for about 18 months and I’ve had no problems. The tiler that did it does work for me through the business so I know they were stuck down properly as that’s the main variable. From memory I cleaned the concrete floor and brushed it out and then the tiles went straight down onto a ...
