Re: Leaving the Lotus Fraternity
Hmmm. I have to say... I think the price is a bit optimistic to be honest. Best of luck to you, but given what I got for my 430 SR I think you may struggle to get the figure you want. Its a rare day that a prospective buyer will be willing to 100% refund the upgrades bought by yourself.

Re: 430 CUP
Maybe not so much of a factor at purchase.... but what has this new model done to resale values of the "much cheaper" - but utterly exclusive 60 examples worldwide 380 Cup? Arguably - on the second hand market the 430 will be more desirable - and as a standard run and not limited - this will surely ...

Re: 430 CUP
Looks mental, price tag to match. Would put me off buying a new lotus with the frequency and amount of new special editions they do, I’m all for development and improvement but comes a point they are taking the piss. Yup - if I was a 380 Cup owner I would be absolutely furious around about now. Mor...

Re: 430
Given the reviews of the Exige 380 Sport and then the Evora 430GT.... this is going to be absolutely totally wild. Crazy.
If only they could find a way of shoe-horning the Evora dash into the slightly aging Exige interior then that would be almost perfection for me.

Re: Lotus SUV Leaked Sketches
XC60 sized - 4cylinder and hybrid.... possible diesel. Basically a Volvo with a fancy frock on as stated above. Id also guess that it will be build somewhere in China on a large factory line utilising many of the Geely parts bin and "normal" metal panels as opposed to composites. I think this is fur...

Re: Evora Supercar
I've been watching the TLF thread- lots going on there. Congrats on the purchase Anthony. 8) fwiw - I'm not 100% sold on the rear spoiler, but function wins over form for me. I also hoped to see an ExigeV6-esque exposed shift. But this is nitpicking - it looks epic and the spec of the car (weight l...

Re: Evora Supercar
Love it! All that effort just to make 60 cars is a shame. Should have mass produced it and brought the price point down below the £100k mark. At £112k it is getting quite expensive to buy a new Lotus. That's £112.5k before you add any options. That is serious coin in anybodies book. Then if you add...

Re: Hot Tub Advice
Archie Buchanan (Lotus Evora GTE and Glengairn Lodge) has set up a new Hot tub business near Dinnet (Aboyne). They look really nice - and will actually be on display at the Speed Festival next month (plug - cough cough). We bought our one (6 person) from Grizzly Bear Hot Tubs near Broughty Ferry - a...
