Re: **SPEEDFAIR CHEQUES REQUIRED NOW!**

Tut Sorry mate I had forgotten all about this and not seen this thread until Andy G reminded me just now. I can't make the event, but will of course pay my £50 if you don't have anyone else who can take my place. I am very sorry to mess you around and wouldn't be doing so if I could avoid it. Please...

Re: Atom on trailer

On the way to see a very helpful chap called Corbie who must know everything that is worth knowing about Honda engines. Not only did he fix the problem (no power at high RPM, running rough) which turned out to be a blocked fuel injector, but he lent me a spare set (woth £1000 apparently) for the Nur...

Re: SE Kames II - Sat 21 June

What about the option of running 2 cars at once? My understanding was more marshalls were needed. If this is just a cost issue it will balance out with allowing more entrants as they will get through twice as quickly (or maybe not with the extra faffing about). The other problem is the Atoms wouldn'...

Can't let Andy G get too much extra practice so I've sent a booking request email. Just waiting for the confirmation reply.

Re: SE Kames day *26th April*

The SAOC then headed for Strathaven, at what can only be described as a spirited pace! Ali, was oblivious to the fact that we were well in to Vtec in 5th, and was happily enjoying her day with the Atom. I couldn't believe how quickly strathaven arrived, although with George to follow i had a good g...

Re: SE Kames day *26th April*

Good day and lucky with the weather. Many thanks to Woody for organizing and EACC for running it. Nice to meet up with so many familiar faces, but best of all to post the same lap time as Andy G at 28 seconds. It could only be the 2 days practice I put in a couple of weeks back giving me the extra t...

Re: SE Kames day *26th April*

Don't be put off going to Kaimes. It is completely different from a trackday. You are on the track on your own, free to drive at your own pace with nothing else to distract you (such as passing traffic, concerns about holding people up etc). It is a great way to enjoy your car because it feels much ...

Re: SE Kames day *26th April*

No noise testing when I was there. Can't imagine anyone cares too much either. Just a request to drive sensibly on the way to the track and when leaving. Catering is basic, but there is not a great deal of choice locally anyway. Facilities are not going to set Bernie Ecclestone on fire just yet, but...

Re: SE Kames day *26th April*

Spent the day at Kaimes today, sneaking in a bit of practice. Didn't expect much, but it turned out to be really good fun especially when it dried out. Different to a normal track because it is so narrow, but very grippy and surprisingly confidence inspiring allowing the Atom to be pushed hard by th...

Re: TrackScotland Trackday @ Knockhill - 22nd Feb 2008

Good to meet up Andy, and thanks again for the pax ride - an awsome display of car control if I may say so. On the edge everywhere, putting power on in places I am taking it off, breaking almost as late in the wet as I do in the dry. Some great catches long after I thought we were heading into the g...
