51' Plate S2 Elise with Black Exige alloys
Hi all, I am very reluctantly having to put my S2 up for sale as I need something more practical with better luggage capacity for the winter months.. The car is in good shape, and I would be happy to go through service history etc with anyone who is interested. The advert has just gone up on PH, but...

Throttle Potentionmeter, anyone...?
Morning All, After some good advice on the board, some low rev stuttering has been blamed on a gubbed TPU. Eliseparts.com has a unit, but its rather steep at £50 +VAT. Anybody know a good breakers or Rover parts supplier where I can pick one up quickly and fairly cheap? I hope to get the meter insta...

Re: Momentary shuddering throttle at low revs... Fuel issue??
Cheers Robin, will get it checked!!
Rosco - didnt get a chance to check the board on Wed, otherwise I would have fired over and picked it up. Tried taking the plugs out but the tool I had was too wide (a ba doom tish) to fit down to the plugs.
Give me a shout when your back.

Re: Momentary shuddering throttle at low revs... Fuel issue??
Next time it happens (if I dont get it sorted before hand) I'll try it again, but I did start by pushing the pedal a few times before I resorted to the back..

Re: Momentary shuddering throttle at low revs... Fuel issue??
Cheers for the response guys. Unfortunately it happened again last night when I filled the car. Just kept dying after kicking in for a spilt second. Had to do the same as last time and push the small throttle level on the engine to get it started. Might give Ali through in Dalkeith a call and see if...

Momentary shuddering throttle at low revs... Fuel issue??
Hi guys, Went to garage on Friday to fill car, which had just popped up with refill. Went back after paying and car wouldnt start - sounded like it was dying due to a lack of fuel... managed to get it started by getting a mate to turn the ignition as I manually opened the throttle switch next to the...

Hello,
Nope afraid not. Just drive down to work on the M77, and back up through Beith usually.
I will try and get a photo up soon of the car.
Cheers!
