Re: SE Pony Express - ABZshire to Central Scotland

Doing Westhill to Falkirk tomorrow night and through to Murrays on Sat if that's of any use, will have limited space though so depends on how bulky.

“small hole in tub around knee area” depends on your definition of small.
Looked as though it had been skewered by a fence post.

From memory it was in the hotel carpark at the Spittal of Glenshee (across from the snowgates).

Re: Exige CUP in Abz

Ooops! Didn’t notice this yesterday before I posted the ad. Yep, car is in Elrick but doesn’t break cover very often, the odd trackday or run across to the West coast. Good spot with Spa by the way, :thumbsup we were there at the beginning of the month with the Exiges lot. Never did get a run in it....

Alan
Probably be the OH driving rather than me, so will be in a S2 Exige. Might bring the shed along but only if it's dry!

Glad to hear your recovery is going well and you'll be back behind the wheel.

Re: Bought another Lotus..............................(NLC!)

Congrats

Looks stunning in that colour, always loved the effort TVR put into the interior with all the machined aluminium.

Let us know when you get it home so we can come up and drool over it.

Re: I've seen the light

Hi Simon Told you so  Sorry that the 3 experience didn't turn out as you had hoped. Something to keep in mind even for the Exige is the past history of the car. Although it would be a lot cheaper to rectify faults on an Exige, I'm sure you wouldn't want to repeat the initial ownership problems...

Re: Lotus Carlton. Glenrothes.

surprisingly they are not hugely epensive now - this one is 17K, however i can imagine the running/reliability cost may be pretty steep!! Reliability wise they are ok as long as they haven't been chipped. Parts however are pretty expensive but biggest problem is availability. Any excuse for a pic. ...
