The one at Carnoustie was mine (if it was for sale at Carnoustie Sports Cars), it wasn't a LY it was just a N/A yellow one :)

I think it eventually got sold to a chap in Dundee and is still local.
That is the one, had a nice exhaust and a hard top from memory.

Re: Lego Elises on tour

Don’t think it would have been mine as I bought it privately from a guy in Luton and sold it to the aforementioned gent from down south who still has it (RSG from the vx220.org if you’re on there). There were another three Lightning Yellows in fife at the time though so you’re excused for getting c...

Re: Lego Elises on tour

👍🏼 I saw a Black turbo on the road the other night, first time I’ve seen one in as long as I can remember. It’s over 10 years since I sold mine! 😳 Pretty sure the guy who bought it still has it, and has now added a Testarossa to his fleet! I remember almost buying your one from a dealer in Carnoust...

Re: Nice walks in central Scotland

Dumyat hill in Stirling, get up way higher than the Wallace monument for some great views. Still some snow up at the top. https://www.walkhighlands.co.uk/fife-stirling/dumyat.shtml The Forth and union provides some nice flat walks https://www.scottishcanals.co.uk/activities/walking-running/forth-cly...

Re: Alternative to the AA? NLC

Yes you would need to open a joint account but that is all (no need to move) then you would both be covered in any car, at home, UK and Europe. You also get family worldwide travel insurance, phone insurance and extended warranty cover all for £10 a month. Bonus of not having to renew every year too.

Re: Alternative to the AA? NLC

I would take a look at the Nationwide cover - http://www.nationwide.co.uk/~/media/MainSite/documents/products/current-accounts/flexplus/p2221-flexplus-breakdown-policy.pdf To match it on the AA or RAC is north of £200 and you are getting it plus all the extra insurances for £120 year (£10 per month)...

Any chance you can add another one on for the curry? If not I'll find out where you are and join in for the beers later.
