Re: Tottenham
The idea of the military on our streets terrifies me and someone will inevitably be killed. However, I would far rather that a few of these thugs suffer the fatalities rather than some poor family trapped in their homes when the plebs set it alight. That being said it seems like our moronic politici...

And you shall be there again. However the nice IKEA men lifted up the communal stairs, two of them and I distinctly remember them looking like they wanted to punch me in the face. Therefore I thought 3-4 would be a better option.

Re: Tottenham
I wholeheartedly agree that many on here have no real comprehension what it is to be discriminated against or to not know where your next meal is coming from. And I'm quite sure that if I hadn't have been as lucky as I have been in life and found myself in very different circumstances that I too wou...

Any big strong men in Aberdeen? NLC
Afraid I'm once again pimping the forum. I'm looking for a couple of volunteers on Wednesday evening to come over and help lift a sofa bed down the stairs. Packing up the flat and I promise all the other heavy lifting has been done. However, this sofabed is pretty awkward and will need 3-4 people. O...

Re: Tottenham
I'm loving that this has all kicked off ten minutes away from my new home!! Think ky home insurance may have just trebled! And the real horror is that many if those people who bothered to insure themselves against fire and theft will find one of those cracking clauses that says except in the case of...

I'M BACK ONLINE!!! WOOP WOOP!! This is the happy part! The unhappy part is that I will probably be whacked with a £100 charge by Talk Talk now because the Open Reach Engineer didn't actually have to do anything! It just magically started working again!! I realise this makes me sound like a moron, bu...

Re: About The Economy? (FALC)
Woohoo soapbox opportunity! The economy is virtually suffering from stagnation, beggar all growth accompanied by cracking inflation. As it has already been said, the BoE's usual method of combating inflation is to use the base rate to reign in spending. However, when we're suffering from stagnant/ne...

Re: Virus Help! NLC
Thanks gents! Malwarebytes installed and a full scan performed. Only two infected files found, whether they were anything to do with the site I don't know, but one of them was a trojan so very chuffed to have found it!
Thanks again!

Virus Help! NLC
Hi, I've had a bit of a hiccup with an exe file combined with a major blonde moment! I have since googled said website to discover it is indeed Malware. So far, no problems with the computer and none of the usual warning signs, but want to be safe before I start logging on to digi banking again. Whe...

Re: This is all far too complicated for a girl!
Well I am secretly quite pleased that there wasn't some very obvious answer that I was missing. The adaptor is more expensive than the headphones were so I think I'll just bin the HDMI cable and use the cable that came with the thing. Then I can plug the RCA cables from the Xbox directly into the he...

Re: This is all far too complicated for a girl!
I'm sure Robin thoroughly enjoys you pimping him out like this!!
P.S> I think I should have a bright red text at the bottom of my (for want of a more technical expression) message bitty that says "send Clare cheques". I definitely need them much more than you!!!

This is all far too complicated for a girl!
Well I feel I might be slightly abusing the forum to purely use it for technical help  but I'm afraid my geekiness has just met its girly limit and since dad (tut) doesn't know the answer he suggested that one of you guys might. I am trying to plug wireless headphones into my TV because I can ...

The "New Driving Test"
Find this today and thought you lot might appreciate it!! (Sorry if someone has already posted it.) Not sure how much truth is in it though, as I couldn't find anything else out about it - but still worth a laugh!!
