Re: Should I sell up?
Hermes is indeed a really nice car, he bought my last Lotus. A simple transaction, with a good guy. He has bought a few in Scotland.

Re: Should I sell up?
It is indeed sold.... Well, currently pending with a very nice Belgian chap. Got my asking price for it so was happy enough! C service is due which he will complete and road tax is not required so saved myself around £700 as well (originally wanted £21K so basically got there). It's down to two car...

Re: Lotus Elise Viewing
I wouldn't be so happy viewing a car in that manner. I mean there is likely no issues at all with it but my preference would be to meet at the sellers house, I would want to have a good look at the car absolutely stone cold and see it start up from there. Maybe I'm just paranoid and may not make so...

That video is running at a higher speed than what the real time recording was.....easy to tell in parts. However, running red lights and handbrake turns are stupi on public roads, what a prat.

Just back from the cinema.....Loved it! Cineworld - Edinburgh, it was a sell out.
These racers are just nuts......a special breed. Would urge anyone to go along and watch it, although i was also underwhelmed with the 3D aspect.

Re: Lotus bid for Government cash rejected
Maybe the UK Government seen through Lotus's/Proton's dodgy business plan, which many people from the industry seems to think will fail?
Who knows, but it would be a shame to see production move outside the uk

Thanks Robin. It would appear that the front indicator is common throughout the S2 Range, from 01 to 10.

Front indicator
I have an 07 Exige, that now has a missing front indicator after it decided to leave the car whilst driving  Was there any change in this unit throughout the years, i.e. would a indicator from a 01 car fot an 07? Is there anything i can do to prevent the same problem in the future? i understa...

Re: AA parts & labour
Pretty sure you need to breakdown/or call out the AA to start the procedure? I am happy to be corrected though, i know a lot of users on here are pretty well versed on how it works. I have used it only once, got a new battery, cost me £25, as that is the excess - saved me £50

Once again, a first class service from MMC, and Craig. Love the new showroom and service desk area, also spyed the type 72.......very nice. It has to be said, although they are the only Lotus dealer in Scotland, their customer care levels are outstanding, inparticular Craig, he really has turned th ...
