Scottish Elises

Cheers folks, might well be back in the fold at some point. Yes, I'm keeping a momento in the form of the number plates off the Elise when I get it transferred, they are going on new motor

After changing jobs and having much more travel the Elise is going. Got wind in the hair under my skin now, so audi a4 cab is on the cards. Might buy another one sometime if circumstances allow. Was great to meet folks on here, sure I'll see some of you about sometime. All the best folks

I may be going mad, but I'm sure my cooling fan used to cut in at somewhere about 96-98 previously, but recently it doesn't seem to be happening. I let it go (very briefly) to 106 once sitting in traffic before turning up the heating full to bring it down. Later that day it cut in about 98 or so. Th...

I just switched from the RE040s to AD07s. Combined with a little increase in front camber there is a big difference. Turn in is sharper and the car is much better under braking. I had toyos a while back on the S3 (Audi) and didn't find them much different from the RE040s. Presume the Kumhos are KU31...

Just to close off on this. I got -0.833 (was -0 degress 50 minutes, not -0.5 before I edited this) on the front, rest standard. Front toe was quite well off. Even on the short drive home I could feel a fair difference. Hopefully this will help without causing inside wear. Will update the thread late...

Oil seep most likely not the sump but an oil seal plate which sits just above the oil filter, about the only bit lotus modded before fitting it in to the car and of course it leaks. Quite common on 2zz but not repaired mine yet (for obvious reasons), Ill have the engine out next week so ill let you...
