Re: OpenTrack Track Days, full day, Bank Holiday Monday

Dave,

I am keen to do this day. However, I can't seem to get the website to work. Can you email me or send me a message please? I have tried emailing and will also send you a PM.

Thanks, Graham

Thanks Duggie, looks like a good event but a bit further than I had planned even if they had any places. Will stick to the Highlands. PT

Re: N3 TUT rebuild.

I have that very car. Bought it in August 2012. It is very, very quick. Be aware that things wear out quickly - tyres, pads, discs, etc. The previous owner had to have the engine rebuilt twice and we have just had a new clutch fitted as well as 4 pot brakes. Looking forward to seeing its twin on tra...

Re: European Buyer of Car - what to price at

Try this site. It allows you to issue a bill in sterling, then the buyer pays in euros. And all for a flat fee of just 0.5% from the spot rate! which is a fraction of what your bank will charge you.

Re: Battery charger bargain

I use battery optimisers on all the cars when they are not in use. Fabulous things. In my experience, some S2s have a live cigarette lighter socket and some don't. Easy to test though. And to be honest, it is sometimes easier to clip to the battery than to reach inside the car with a roof on in a na...

You could try the above for an s1 and/or pop out to Murray's and ask for a test drive in a newer car.

Indeed, the front will be indicating at double speed and the rear will be doing nothing. Or the other way round, or the other way round, or the other way round...

I never had the pleasure of meeting Willie, but have heard a lot about him from mutual friends. The most common description was "legend". What a tragic way to go. Condolences to those who knew him.

Re: Fort Augustus (Boat History)

If that is the boat that I think it is, I have spent several happy evenings aboard her. When I was a teenager, they used to run "booze cruises" on her from Inverness down the canal from Torvean to Urquhart Castle on Loch Ness and back. Happy nights. PT
