Re: Range Rover L322 Experience
Hi George I had a L322 3.0 D for a few years - 2006 model. It was and still is the best driving position of any car I have been in. It is also the most comfortable. My wife loved it and still bangs on about why we don't have a heated steering wheel any more. The 'warm it up from the house' function ...

Re: Le Mans 2016
Just noticed this topic. I've done Porsche Curves with TD twice and am doing so again this year. Can't fault them at all. First year (with DJ) was in the standard camping area i.e bring your own tent. Last year and this year I'm doing the 'event tents' which means you just bring your toothbrush and ...

Re: Third Party Claim Advice
I had a similar situation a few years ago. Car hit our wall and it was in their best interests (for the cost of future car insurance) for the repair cost to be as low as possible. They got some local cowboys to come round and quote for the job whereas we got our own proper quote. Their insurance com...

Re: Bricklayer Reccomendations (West Lothian)
Had something similar to our wall a couple of years ago. BMW hit the wall and damaged a good bit of it. We used a stone mason from Blackburn (west Lothian) who was excellent. Cost to repair was pretty frightening mind you - old style stone work doesn't come cheap.

Re: Long Shot, while I wait for Walk Highlands first post ap
I have only done the Bla Bheinn route of those listed and that was a while ago. Did it on a fine dry day. Not difficult and if I remember correctly only one or two bits of hands on rock with no or v little exposure. The walk along the ridge to the top (not that narrow) has big drop offs over the oth...

Re: Another" Which hotel should i go for a short break" thre
We did a two nighter a few months ago. First night was at the hotel in Kinlochbervie and the second night at the Glen Spean Lodge in Roy Bridge. Kinlochbervie hotel isn't going to compare to the Torridon but we were looking for fantastic roads rather than fantastic food and the roads to the North We...

Re: What sporty convertable to buy?
I was in exactly the same position myself recently. It's a difficult decision. Options I looked at and test drove were : Merc SL 63 - bonkers Porsche spyder Audi s5 All good but the Audi was the better option due to space, performance, 4 wd compromise Ultimately I ended up keeping the Volvo and buyi...

That it puts a smile on other people's faces. Never had a car that did that so much.

Amusingly enough new considering a RR Vogue 3.0td - anyone got any thoughts on how the 2 compare Would highly recomend the RR Vogue (or Vogue SE). Bought one last year and have never regretted it. The missus loves it and with this winter its been brilliant. Most comfortable driving seat I have ever...

Re: 111R Rev Limit
Hi Mike, the limit before up to operating temp is between 6000 and 6500 and I agree with Meatball that you don't want to go near it when cold. Once up to temp, the red light is around 8300.
