Graeme,
Always enjoyed poping in to the showroom for a chat, and sometimes coming out with a new car.......
Looking forward to hearing what you are up to next.
Alan

TOTAL 248

Re: Car dilema - 430 replacement
Unfortunately you will find that the GT3 market is like this. The good ones never hang around long, and many sell without ever coming on to the open market. It is not helped by the fact that numbers are limited. I forget the actual figures, but there were only around 300 - 400 Gen 1 cars (total of G...

If you are looking for a good GT3/RS, these establishments are worth keeping an eye on to get a feel for what is available: http://www.911virgin.com/ http://www.rsjsportscars.co.uk/ http://www.specialistcarsltd.co.uk/ http://www.jzmporsche.com/ This guy also seems to get very good feedback on the Po...

Re: Car dilema - 430 replacement
Andy, I have been reading this thread with interest, as I have been down the same road recently. I was looking for a good 997 GT3/RS, and have done a lot of chasing over the last 18 months. From my experience, the one piece of advice I would offer if you are going down the Porsche route is to get an...

Re: Photos from the past
Do you still have the Megabusa ? No - went back to the factory SOR and ended up going to a guy from the Leeds area I think. Wow, really is a small world! I helped Alan build his Westfield too, a little bit, but I only got to drive it up his dads street and back! Obviously didnt trust me enoug...

Re: Photos from the past
Small world indeed. Myself and the other half (although still the girlfriend rather than the wife...) used to share the driving. I figured it was only fair, as she did help to build the car in the first place.

Re: Photos from the past
Yup - that was our first Westy. 1800 Sport built from a full kit in 2003, and traded back to the factory for a Megabusa in 2006. I believe they sold it to someone in London. Good to see a photo of it in its prime.....jen wrote:Anyone on here own the red 7type thing with the hood?
