Re: Confused about Oil

Just noticed on HUKD that Opie oils have 5 litres of Gulf Competition for 30 quid (member price). Seems pretty decent for such an oil (though I don't much else about it...) http://www.opieoils.co.uk/c-971-gulf-competition.aspx Edit: and i'm posting as Erica as my laptop is rhubarbed :( Chris (Corran...

Re: Bean spillage: new car.

Love it! :D

Easily the best looking F-car of recent times, imo they haven't made anything that looks better since.

One day i'll have me one!

Re: SIDC 19TH sept 54 min video!

Nice vid, quality is pretty decent, can't wait to try mine out once the car is in 1 piece again. I like the idea of mounting it on the interior vent too.

Maybe some gaffer/sparky tape and a little piece of foam for a makeshift boom will help the audio out by reducing wind noise.

Re: Car pulling to the left [UPDATE] Bolt stuck on rear caliper

Bolts - The bolt that holds the handbrake cable / spring onto the rear caliper is stuffed (and stuck in my socket The socket is a 13mm, so either the bolts are imperial or my cheap machine mart socket set isn't quite 13mm. Forgive the silly question but, what is the bolt and where can I buy another ...

Those are already heading up in price now though.

I'd love a Toyota Corolla AE86, more so the Japanese Toyota Sprinter Trueno :love

but 8k+ for a rusty old 1.6 twin cam toyota.... not so much.

Re: Hayfever ? (FALC)

I'm allergic to house dust, and often I just get itchy eyes from it. I use Cetirizine (also available in galpharm brand for 60p or so for a week in asda) though that's mainly as the loratadine messes me up as bit. From my experience though, it takes a day or 2 for the antihistamine to build up in yo...

Re: Xbox forza 2

Forza 2 is quite an old game, maybe no one is playing it atm. I've been going through some of my older games recently, Bomberman Live, Ridge Racer 6, Gotham 3... recently, no one online :/ I don't really play much on live, but we could maybe arrange some weekly or fortnightly SE Forza 2 if anyone is...

I don't think anyone who has criticised Ali in this thread has posted anything other than facts and direct experiences Chris. Not sure where you get the personal vendettas thing from? Cheers Dan Fair point, I may have been reading between the lines a little and drawing poor assumptions. I'd say tha...

Re: Elise S1 horn - where is it?!

Solved, and car MOT'd yesterday. It was the wiring coming out the bottom of the fuse box. "I think it's this purple wire" *gentle pull* "Yep, the one that's come off in my hand" A bit wire and some solder later, problem solved! ps. Sanjoy, I also switched it out with the arch liner still in, the bol...

Re: Car selling woes. Well, not really but it beaks the monotony

im selling my run about soon though so in this climate i may have to stop being so fussy  Good luck with that one. I've had my Punto advertised on and off for a couple of months. So far i've had someone ask about 7 questions via email, and not reply when I pass on my phone number to arrange a ...

The street triple is stunning. I'm feeling the urge to get a first big bike again. No where to keep one though :(

Edit: and it's Chris (Corranga) on Erica's laptop. Oops!

Re: Website help, somewhere to host a couple of files?

Hi, I'm Erica (corranga's other half). Sounds like The Doomed can sort you out a pretty good deal but if you want to stick with fasthosts just email them and tell them you want the hosting as well (you might be able to set up a support ticket from your control panel but I can't swear to this as I do...
