I have eventually managed to get a copy of the leaflet. I was just going to post up a picture of it, when like a silly old Hector, I realised you meant the car, so here she is

If the BBC are going to do it from a studio in UK, couldn't they do it from Murray's front room? I'd love to have Murray back, Grand Prix are not the same without him

:welcome What type of Rallying were you into? What were you competing in? Originally road rallying in the 'good old days' then stage events. - Original Mini --> Escort Mk2 --> Talbot Sunbeam 1.6Ti --> Peogoet 309 challenge cup and then finally a MItsubishi Starion 2.0L... That's me in the main pic,...

Re: Jim Clark Leaflet

Hi DJ, I knew there were a total of 50 for the whole world (at least that's the basis on which I've bought mine). As far as I understand, Lotus choose to release it first in Scotland after the memory of Jim Clark, so there were initially 25 available in UK and Ireland, then the other 25 were release...

Re: Video Cameras & Mounting

One thing to consider regarding mounting, is to be able to see either the viewfinder or the LCD - several cameras now you can fold the LCD inside out so you can see the picture from the side, which is useful in a 2-seater, where otherwise you'd have to look in through the back window to set the came...

Re: Jim Clark Leaflet

I think I might have found what's on the Jim Clark leaflet - a list of his 25 GP wins, Indy 500 and World Championship wins: http://kijiji.ebayimg.com/i18/02/k/000/7c/0c/538a_20.JPG?set_id=1C4000 Also Lotus have today issued a press release with a "Specification Summary: Ø Elise SC Ø Sports Pack Ø H...

Re: Jim Clark Leaflet

I got the info from the press release ... Ah, right, I'd seen that - I thought maybe you'd seen the leaflet and it was the same as the press release. So both are from the Lotus press office, but the quoted performance is not exactly the same. I wonder why? Autocar states "the [Jim Clark] supercharg...

Re: Jim Clark Leaflet

Thanks for the welcome gentlemen, I went down to the Goodwood Festival of Speed but there didn't seem to be a Lotus stand there   It looks like I'll need to get my eyes tested before I take delivery of her (or should it be "him" if it's called Jim :?: ). Apparently there was a Lotus stan...

:welcome Not silly at all - welcome along (assuming you have ordered the car and not just the picture !) :ROFL Good one! I hope it's the actual car I've ordered and not just a picture!! Actually, I didn't order it from MMC - I'm English  from way down south of the border, so I'm not sure if M...

Jim Clark Leaflet

Thankyou to those who have posted pictures of the Jim Clark Elise a couple of months ago :cheers :cheers On the basis of those pictures, I have been a very silly old Hector, and ordered one  Apart from the Autocar news section, the only real information I can find about the car is the official...
