Hi guru's I'm looking to bypass the imobiliser\alarm on my 1998 S1 to see if it solves my dash light problems. My S1 has some strange dash lights and want to try your fix. Can you please tell me what/where the "Engine reset button" ..is that the inertia switch? Or something else

I thought I was seeing things when I clocked an S1 in purple and Orange spodges going East bound on the M8 J16 yesterday afternoon. Maybe the car has hay-feaver or something !!

Thanks to your guys help, I got to the bottom of the problem. I disconnected the siren, opened it up and found that the backup battery had corroded and melted some of the siren's PCB - checked with meter. Call an Elise break down south and they wanted £50 for the Cobra 5370 siren, Found a brand new ...
