Re: Honda Map
Feel free to share your progress, haven't seen one in a while and always makes an interesting read.
Re: Honda Map
Hi Michail, I could send you a map but my advice would be to use one of the standard pre-loaded maps. The K-Pro has a few base maps, and believe one even has the DC5 CAMS. You can upload this, which allows you to start the car and start the mapping process. Have you fitted a wideband lambda?. If you...

Re: Honda conversion.
other than the Injectors etc previously mentioned, what fuel pressure is he setting the conversations too?.
You have to add an aftermarket FPR, worth checking it's set to correct pressure (3.0bar normally for N/A) - probably fine, but worth a check.
Getting the error codes is the way to go.

Re: Honda conversion.
FYI - The ECU is in 'Open' Loop when warming up (hardly uses any features - like Lambda sensor etc), once up to temperature then 'Closed' Loop is used (fuel tables are trimmed to optimum) yes and no, it's only open loop for <20 seconds (and usually less than 10) as soon as the ECU get's reliable la...

Re: Honda conversion.
Well I can offer some experience now :) I picked up my Honda'd s1 from Craig earlier in the week. I stuck with the standard civic ECU and it's a bit of a pig when cold: spluttery, stalls on a closed throttle etc for the first 5 minutes until the engine warms up. Ok out in the country but a pain in ...

Re: Short notice - Knockhill Track Night - Wednesday 8th Jun
Yep, the 4C is Lovely. He was very nervous so toodling around. Desperatly wanted a shot, pass some of the Evos and RS's !!!!! but he wasn't keen. What didn't help was miss judging the length of the back straight on the first lap, he thought Clarks was a continuation of the straight and nearly hit it...

Re: Oil Pay cuts.

So what then is the main consideration of a member of permanent staff ?. Wherever I have worked there have always been...

Re: Oil Pay cuts.
It's hit me as well - was contracting the last 2 years with WGPSN but watched the department shrink from 210 to 60 in a few months so decided to move on (recently heard it's now completely gone). I was forced to take a position in Leicester and commute weekly.... it's not exactly great but at least ...

Frank, my iMac hard drive packed in and the apple store repaired it free of charge (£200 drive normally), it's a year out of warranty. No idea why or how they did this, but i wasn't complaining.

Re: Immobiliser/Alarm...how to get rid of it all?
